Software Application Engineer
Application Engineer design and code enterprise software according to provided specifications: Optimize and test existing software to enhance and improve performance and functionality; Help define new features along with the project committee; And make recommendations for system and process improvements.
The position requires extensive web development for the near future. The position is based at our office in Salt Lake City,Utah. Some travel may be required.
Skills:
- Strong C/C++/C# coding skills.
- Experience with .NET 2.0, ASP.NET, C#.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- 2-5 years experience in software and/or web development.
- Must be detail-oriented and very self-motivated.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid background utilizing OO concepts in design and development.
Definite Pluses:
- Experience with large databases (over 10 million records) is a strong plus.
- Extensive knowledge of SQL and Database concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Replication.
- XML, SOAP programming experience.
- Speech recognition experience.
